I am very interested in cooking/grilling fish, but am scared of getting the fishy smell in my house & not able to get it out....do you have any suggestions?

EmmyJMommy,
I tend to cook mild white fish at home in the kitchen.I use vinegar to get the smell out. I put a bowl of vinegar on the counter and it absorbs the fishy smell. In the summer months I usually grill salmon or trout in foil packets with vegetables and herbs, which is great because there is no lingering smell in the house.I hope this helps.
